HOW AMERICAN GIRL HISTORY GOT STARTED
Back in Summer 2017, I brought the American Girl Ultimate Visual Guide from my local Barnes and Noble. I remember looking through the book and thinking "Wow, this is awesome, but it does not have everything about American Girl." The American Girl Ultimate Visual Guide is such a wonderful book and it helped me put this website together, but I could not get over the fact that it did not cover everything about American Girl. Due to that, I got inspired to create a website all about the history of American Girl. It took me a long time to find the right site builder. I went from a total of 8 different website builders! Each one did not have the right features that I wanted my website to have. Then in 2019, I found the perfect website builder for American Girl History and I launched on Wix in 2020!
THE GIRL BEHIND AMERICAN GIRL HISTORY
Hello! My name is Mal and I started American Girl History! I started collecting American Girl dolls when I was six back in 2009. Ever since then I have fallen in love with American Girl. American Girl dolls have inspired me to do so many things and opened up so many opportunities for me. I actually have a YouTube Channel where I post videos about my dolls. I also have an Instagram where I post the same videos and photos on my dolls. Both of them are called Dollies and Rainbows, so feel free to give me a follow or subscribe!

See the full list of resources we used/still currently using here. American Girl History does checks to make sure our information is correct and up-to-date. That is why we only rely on American Girl catalogs, books, and other products from American Girl to make sure we are putting the right facts and information down.
