CONTEMPORARY CHARACTERS

In February 2017, American Girl released Contemporary Characters. These characters are set in present times and have a storyline like the Girl of the Year Characters, but these characters are aimed to be out for a longer period of time. The line first started with the release of Tenney Grant and Logan Everett. 

In July 2018, American Girl announced the retirement of Tenney Grant, Logan Everett, and Z Yang. Therefore, resulting in the whole line being retired.
