Girl of the Year of 2022
On December 30, 2021, American Girl released Corinne Tan as the twentieth Girl of the Year. Besides releasing Corinne Tan, American Girl also released her sister which is Gwynn Tan. To celebrate their release, American Girl revealed them on Good Morning, America on December 30th. On January 1st, American Girl hosted an AG Rewards Private Shopping Event with take-home cookie decorating and other goodies.
During the summer of 2022, American Girl announced the making of Corinne's movie. The movie was supposed to be released later that year. However, the movie ended up being released on Amazon Prime in July of 2023.
