Girl of the Year of 2019

On January 1st, 2019, American Girl released Blaire Wilson. Blaire Wilson was the first Girl of the Year Character to have an exclusive AG Rewards Party at American Girl's flagship locations to celebrate her debut on December 31st 2018. At the party, guests eat a delicious breakfast, got an exclusive AG Rewards bag, a Blaire doll, and a couple of her items from her collection. Blaire was also revealed on Good Morning America on the same day as the AG Rewards Party.

On January first of 2019, American Girl official released Blaire to the general public by having her available on their website and in all of their stores. To celebrate, American Girl stores gave out an exclusive doll-size apron, crafts, and fun activities such as a cake and cupcake decorating. Just like Gabriela McBride and Luciana Vega, Blaire Wilson stayed available past her year and officially retired in 2021.
